Geometry 101

In my cards, I love to explore different proportions to see what works and what doesn't. This card, which I made for my friend's recent birthday, is a more successful example of my experimentation. I tried to see what would balance the banner coming off the right side of the card, and the patterned hexagon/honeycomb design ended up working very well. Also, my friend loved the card!

I suppose I have a thing for butterflies.
